Choosing a Sex Education Curriculum
Many schools and after-school programs in Georgia and the United States have chosen abstinence-only programs because the decision to do so was easy. These programs were, until recently, federally funded, and are ready-to-go packages with a script and appealing videos, and many include teacher training in the package.
Finding and financing a comprehensive sex education program may seem much more daunting – but it does not have to be.
