There are several things you might want to do something about when it comes to sexual health and sex ed

You might want to get comprehensive sex education in your school, you might want to do something about teen pregnancy which is increasing again in Georgia, or you might want to become a peer-educator.

- Join the PTSA and other groups or clubs at your school. Find out if they are sharing your concerns - if not, bring it to the table!

- You can attend school board meetings and ask questions. Go to your school district/county website and find out when they meet. If you want help, contact us.

- Every school district/county has an advisory committee for HIV and sex education where parents, members of the community and students from 11th and 12th grade have input on sex education curriculum, material etc (it is sometimes called the Health and PE committee). If your school district does not have any students on that committee, get on it!!!

- Join one of the Reproductive Health Organizations that give Young People a way to Impact their Own Futures - several of them are active here in Georgia!
